At the request of our member firm community, we will implement two important enhancements to the ETP system on Monday May 12th.  Please note the detailed information below.

Wildcard Search Option

A new ��wildcard�� search feature will be added for the Account Number fields on both the Required Criteria and Net Positions screens in ETP.  You can enter an asterisk (*) in the account number field (i.e. ABC* or *ABC or *ABC*) to display all accounts containing the desired characters. In the near term, we will add wildcard functions to other fields, including order number.

ETP Change Confirms

As previously announced firms can transmit change records for �non-critical� fields for GLOBEX^� trades and/or route the trade, to ACS, APS or MOS.  We are offering ETP change confirm messages that can be sent to firms upon their request.  There will be three categories of these messages, as follows:

�         Successful Update (SC):  The change message was received and successfully applied.  Firms will receive a standard TREX message with an action code of �C�.
 

�         Failed Update (FC):  The change message was received but could not be applied.  (For example, the message specified a non-existent trade ID.)  Firms will receive the main TREX record and an M1 block, including an error code and error description indicating why the change could not be applied.
 

�         No Update (NC):  The change message was received and was valid, but no data was updated because the data on the message and the data in the clearing system were identical.
